A role model Judith Haddad

Since that time, I’ve always looked up to her and used her as an example for my daughter. Judy Haddad is strong and passionate with her work while simultaneously being generous and kind with everyone she works with. On top of that, she has excelled in her career and is currently the President and CIO of Patriot Technology Solutions. If there ever was a woman who could shatter the glass ceiling and prove women are just as capable as men, it was Judith. I hope my daughter grows up to be strong and passionate about her work, whatever it may be, and that she will always look to Judy and her career as an example of what women and leaders can accomplish if they work hard.

I have been friends with Judith Haddad since we worked together at Blue Cod Technologies. It has been a while since then, but we still reach out to each other when we have time and catch up on our lives and what we are doing. If Judith wasn’t already very impressive when I worked with her, she is even more impressive now. In fact, she is the role model for my daughter that I always wanted, and I’ve been fortunate enough to have her around enough for my daughter to actually look up to.

Fun Learning from Judith Haddad

She explained that people who lead in companies sometimes try to do everything on their own because it seems easier than letting someone else do it, but it is a trap I shouldn’t fall into. My efforts as a CIO would be completely wasted unless I took the time to teach employees how to do things for themselves. And she was right. I would go a hundred times again for that precious time I had with her, and I wish everyone could have the same opportunity.

There’s nothing I like more than business trips to sunny places where I can learn from the best in the industry. And that is exactly what I got to experience when I travelled to Florida. The beaches in Florida were absolutely beautiful, and the nightlife is everything you see in the movies. I even got a chance to hold a baby alligator and go on an airboat tour through the everglades. But what I got most from my trip was an opportunity to spend a few hours with Judith Haddad getting some advice on how to better succeed as a CIO.
