Role of Judith Haddad as CIO

judith-haddad-officeA Chief Information Officer, or CIO, was a pretty unnecessary job fifty years ago. Though technology was emerging quickly, it was nothing like it is today. At first, the title was given to the person responsible for ensuring all the cables were running smoothly and nothing went wrong with the equipment needed at the office. Now, however, the job is completely different and is a much more valued and necessary role at companies. The CIO at any major company today is responsible for not only ensuring the currently technology is working properly but that the company is up to date on current technology. This person is responsible for researching new and innovative technology options and determining whether or not those are worth using or if the fad will be over too quick to be worth spending thousands of dollars switching employees over.

Judith Haddad has worked as an executive in the insurance technology industry for over 20 years. Loaded with the experience and education to know what is going on and how to build upon current technology, she has been able to lead teams at Patriot to success. She has shown she is extremely innovative and has the ability to see problems and find answers to them. She also has extreme patience when working with and teaching other individuals. Thanks to Haddad, the insurance industry is no longer waiting for technology to catch up.

Technology of Insurance got better – Judith Haddad

judith-haddad-office-matesThe insurance world is one we all deal with on a regular basis. It plays into many parts of our lives. Everything from life insurance to car insurance to workers compensation insurance are things we deal with on a regular basis, even if we don’t realize it. And as regulations get stricter on how these insurances work, it is getting more integrated into our everyday lives. That is why it is so important that technology in the insurance world is keeping up. Thanks to Judith Haddad, President and CIO at Patriot Technology Solutions, the insurance industry is being taken care of.

Providing technology solutions

Haddad’s goal in working at Patriot has always been to provide technology solutions to an industry that has been ignored for a long time. Even though the insurance industry itself has changed a lot over the last few years, the technology available hasn’t been able to keep up. The goal at Patriot has been to build technology options that make insurance easier for both the companies and end users. Whether you are an insurance company, a business buying insurance for employees, or a person trying to figure out what your insurance covers, these kinds of solutions are here to help you.

With Judith Haddad as the CIO, Patriot has been able to find a lot of success in building up the insurance industry. They have launched systems for Missouri Employers Mutual, launched Vikarin Solutions QuoteExpert Portal, and have worked to introduce and launch many other essential programs to various insurance companies.

Judith Haddad – The Woman of influence

Judith-Haddad-in-officeThis world is filled with amazing women who are great examples to the rising generations of girls. When the world tells girls they aren’t as good as men, nothing is more important for those girls than examples of women who have proven those men wrong. Judith Haddad is one of those women who is a great example and can inspire other women to greatness. She has been a leader in the insurance technology industry for some time and is currently running Patriot Technology Solutions.

All about Haddad

Judith Haddad got her Bachelor’s degree at Clark University in Boston. She proceeded with a Master of Business Administration at Nova Southeastern University where she received academic honors. She also attended INSEAD for an executive management program. Since that time, she has worked as an executive at many large companies, shattering the glass ceiling for women and proving that women are just as valuable as men in the workplace. She has even received awards for her influence on women and leadership positions.

Examples from an influential CIO

Judith-haddad-awardEvery company is highly influenced by the people in their executive suite positions. Everything from the Chief Executive Officer to the Chief Financial Officer is important. These positions really affect how a company will run and where it will go in the future. One of the executive suite positions that is most important is the Chief Information Officer (CIO), responsible for all information technology that runs through the company.

In the past, this position has been very minimal and didn’t require a lot of extra work, but in a time when everything is run through technology, it is more important than ever to make sure we have qualified individuals filling those CIO positions. Judith Haddad of Patriot Technology Solutions is one of the most influential CIOs, and she isn’t going to be done anytime soon.

My experience working with Judith Haddad

Judith-Haddad-award-functionWorking at Patriot National Solutions has been amazing. I have learned more about technology and the insurance industry than I ever realized there even was to learn, and I have been able to show off that learning in many of the projects I have worked on at the company. I have especially enjoyed work for and learning from Judith Haddad, President and CIO at Patriot.

Patience from Haddad

Judith Haddad is the CIO, so you would think she wouldn’t be very available to the employees at the company. It is actually the opposite of that. She has always been around to help me whenever I have questions or need anything, and I have been surprised at her level of involvement. She really wants to make sure the programs and technology we are creating will work well and will do exactly what the client wants it to do. She is also extremely patient with us as she helps teach us the things we need to know to provide excellent solutions instead of getting frustrated or upset with us. I’ve been very grateful to have her around to help teach me and build up our team.

“To become influential in business, you must be able to help bring change for the greater good of the organization by creating a vision, believing in your people and delivering successful outcomes,” she says.

She believes integrity, insightfulness and natural leadership are key traits of any influencer. Deliver on your word, create a shared vision, and seek to lead from within. In fact, she learned years ago that leadership is not taught in a classroom.

“It made me realize that leadership is something you do naturally,” she says. “It is something that you have to be passionate about, especially knowing that it is perhaps one of the toughest roles.”
